Get Emails Out Of Spam

You can have the best email copy, the best offer, and the best design—but if your emails aren’t landing where they should, none of it matters.
Deliverability is the difference between making money and getting ignored.
Here’s the breakdown:
✅ Primary inbox = You’re winning.
⚠️ Promotions tab = Still okay, but not ideal.
🚨 Spam folder = Game over.
If your emails never make it to the inbox, it’s usually because of poor authentication, heavy images, bad list management, or spammy triggers.
Here’s how to fix it:
1. Email Authentication: DKIM, DMARC & SPF
If you want your emails to land in the primary inbox, authentication is non-negotiable.
Set up DKIM (DomainKeys Identified Mail), DMARC (Domain-based Message Authentication, Reporting & Conformance), and SPF (Sender Policy Framework).
These authenticate your emails, proving to inbox providers that you're a legit sender—not some random spammer.
SPF: Prevents email spoofing by verifying the sending IP.
DKIM: Adds a digital signature to prove your email wasn’t tampered with.
DMARC: Tells inbox providers what to do if SPF/DKIM fail (reject, quarantine, or allow).
Without these, your deliverability is trash—don’t skip this step.
2. Optimize Images: Compression & Live Text
If your email is just a giant image, Gmail and Outlook will flag it as spam. Keep file sizes low and use live text instead of embedding everything in an image.
Use TinyPNG (or a similar tool) to compress images without killing quality.

Keep total email weight under 100KB—heavy emails get throttled.
Faster load times + better rendering = higher deliverability.
3. Double Opt-In: When & When Not to Use It
Normally, I don’t recommend double opt-in because it kills about 30% of potential subscribers.
However, if your deliverability is bad, double opt-in can clean up your list and improve inbox placement.
When to use it:
✅ If you're getting lots of spam complaints
✅ If you have a ton of unengaged subscribers
✅ If your emails keep going to spam
When to skip it:
❌ If your open rates & deliverability are solid
❌ If you’re scaling fast and want more leads in the funnel
Choose based on your deliverability health.
4. Never End Up in Spam
Here’s how to stay out of the spam folder:
Warm up your sending domain (don’t blast 50K emails on day one).
Avoid spammy words ("Free!!!", "Urgent!!!", "Claim Now!!!").
Use a real sender name (not "[email protected]").
Make unsubscribing easy—if people can’t opt out, they’ll mark you as spam.
Monitor your engagement—low open rates = a fast track to the spam folder.
